The demand for manufacturing according to the highest quality standards has many aspects: Among other things, cooperation with reliable partners and the processing of only the highest quality raw materials.

Well-known development partners were already on hand during the development of bebomed:
bebomed was developed in alliance with the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology UMSICHT .

All bebomed products are dermatologically tested - for all skin types, with a focus on baby skin and sensitive or even allergic skin. The special hypoallergenic properties, the special tolerability and the effectiveness of bebomed products have been dermatologically tested and confirmed several times by independent private and public institutes. This was done in cooperation with the Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology / Skin Clinic at the University Hospital of RWTH Aachen, among others.

Only raw materials of the highest quality are used in production. These are sourced from well-known manufacturers in defined supply chains.

Comprehensive quality controls and tests ensure the high quality of bebomed® products, accompany the receipt of goods (quality, purity and condition of the raw materials) and production. All of this is subject to high-quality quality management and assurance:
bebomed® is manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, DIN EN ISO 22716:2007 and all CE classes. bebomed® is produced in compliance with the latest standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP Cosmetics) .

All raw materials used are of the highest quality, are supplied by trusted partners and come from reliable sources.

bebomed products do not contain any petroleum-based raw materials. This is also an advantage for sustainability, as all ecological problems associated with oil extraction and processing are avoided.

bebomed products are also free from ecologically harmful substances such as parabens, paraffins, silicones and microplastics. bebomed is 100% organic and biodegradable.

CO2 neutrality is now a recognized goal of economic activity. Unfortunately, it is not yet the lowest possible water consumption. However, given that drinking water resources are set to become increasingly scarce in the foreseeable future, it must be. Here, too, bebomed is ahead of its time.
Water (“aqua”) is an essential ingredient in almost all baby care products. This makes them easier to apply and water-soluble ingredients can be more easily absorbed into the skin. Above all, however, water is a cheap ingredient, often making up 75-80% of the total content in classic recipes. In most cases, it can be significantly reduced without affecting the product’s effectiveness and performance.
bebomed recipes create exactly this balance: in bebomed products, the water content is only a fraction of the water content of conventional baby care products. In bebomed skin & hair wash lotion, care lotion and face cream, for example, the water content is around 65% to 75% lower.

bebomed recipes are therefore significantly more concentrated than those of conventional products. Baby care with bebomed therefore requires comparatively less product. This is easy on the wallet of bebomed users. In addition, this also reduces the user's carbon footprint (less transport, less packaging waste) and water footprint (lowest possible water consumption) - thus protecting the environment.

The use of packaging material is reduced as much as possible - here are a few examples: The containers are filled almost completely so that as little empty space as possible reduces transport efficiency. bebomed packaging is optimally designed in terms of its material thickness.

In the spirit of a sustainable, closed-loop economy, bebomed packaging is made of 100% recycled material, i.e. recycled old plastic. Modern sorting technology guarantees very pure recycled material and delivers the highest quality packaging in a way that conserves resources and protects the environment. The packaging itself is 100% recyclable.

There is currently no sustainable alternative to the use of plastic packaging: Bioplastics - whether bio-based (from organic farming) or biodegradable - do not yet provide sufficient packaging qualities while at the same time there are still unresolved sustainability problems such as monocultures in the cultivation of the original plants or residues of microplastics.

To ensure that bebomed packaging is disposed of separately and that it can be recycled in the most resource-efficient way possible, containers and closures are made of the same material wherever possible. Easily removable labels and sustainable printing inks are also used.

The containers and closures of bebomed products are designed so that the contents can be used up as completely as possible. Almost empty bottles with disc tops can be turned upside down so that the last contents collect directly at the closure for convenient use and can be easily removed.

bebomed products are produced in an ecologically compatible and resource-saving manner. When extracting MCT oil for bebomed products, particular care is taken to ensure that natural resources are used in a controlled manner and that ecosystems are not damaged. In this respect, bebomed uses organic MCT oil, which is extracted from palm and coconut oil under ecological, sustainable aspects.

Sustainability in bebomed production is ensured by working in a resource-saving manner and covering the electricity requirement with 100% green electricity. At the same time, we ensure that electricity consumption is kept as low as possible. For example, special continuous production processes allow energy savings of up to 80% compared to conventional production processes.

bebomed meets the strict PETA requirements, is therefore free from animal testing and is listed accordingly by PETA .

This certified freedom from animal testing means that bebomed is completely free from animal testing. Bebomed does not use any animal testing in research and development, production or performance testing. In addition, bebomed products do not contain any ingredients that would have to be tested on animals in accordance with the REACH chemicals regulation.
